The new generation
Parisian Peel Microdermabrasion uses fine
crystals sprayed onto the skin that remove
the outer dead cell layers. It can be
compared to micro sandblasting. This
produces a gentle resurfacing experience
with dramatic results without burning,
irritation, and skin reactions.
Microdermabrasion exfoliates the skin in an
effective and controlled manner. It is a
gentle way of making real improvements
without having downtime. As cells are
exfoliated, your wall becomes thinner and
more product can pass through it. A series
of 6 to 8 treatment at 1 to 2 week intervals is recommended for optimal results.
Microdermabrasion is
contra-indicated for patients with redness or
flushing (the sucking action of the
microdermabrasion promotes
microcirculation). Vitale Skin Rejuvenation
Institute has certified laser aestheticians
on staff.
Medical grade chemical peels are often added
to enhance the effects.
A medical microdermabrasion helps improve
hyperpigmentation, mild scarring, fine
lines, pore size and aids in resurfacing
aging and sun damaged skin. The treatment allows
some of the dryness associated with maturing
skin to be controlled by removing dry, dead
cells while providing additional smoothness.
The types of results that
may be expected with a medical
microdermabrasion are that acne scarring,
hyperpigmentation and fine lines will be
erased or will significantly improve in
appearance. Active acne, both moderate and
severe, can be controlled as well with a
medical-micro and proper, diligent home care
and maintenance. On anti-aging patients
there may be a noticeable difference after
the first treatment: skin will be smoother,
softer, and feel tighter, and any scarring
and hyperpigmentation will be slightly
diminished. More dramatic results will
become more obvious as the treatment series
continues.
The average length of an
initial series is six treatments. It is ideal
to have a treatment every 1 to 2 weeks.
However, since treatment results vary for
individuals, some may need a longer series
to achieve desired results.
The skincare technician will recommend a
complete maintenance program, including
medical microdermabrasion treatments and an
at-home skincare regimen. |
